| Aimee Weber Mulkey Owner and Director of Aimee's Dance Academy. Teacher of 2 year olds Ballet & Tap, 3 and 4 year olds Ballet & Tap, 5 and 6 year olds Jazz & Tap, Lyrical, Marching Group, Competition Team, and oversees all classes. Andrea Robertson This will be Andreas third year with the studio. She is a wonderful asset to our studio. She is a beautiful dancer with a love for teaching children how to dance. She danced under Derek Reese and traveled with him teaching throughout the south. She was also a drill team director for one of our local high schools for three years. She has twenty years of dance experience and 10 years of teaching experience. Andrea will be teaching our jazz and tap classes for the 7-8 year old students and the 9-11 year old students. This class will be great for students who want to learn both tap and jazz. Paige Hebert Paige will be returning for her second year with the studio. Paige is the daughter of Johanna Walker Hebert owner of Johanna's Jazz In Motion in Destrehan. Paige has grown up in a dance studio and is very experienced and educated in dance. Paige teaches Hip Hop I and Hip Hop II at the studio. She is a great energetic teacher who is sure to keep the kids Hip Hopping Around! Juanita Marino Juanita is a 1997 graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where she received a Certificate of Dance. Juanita has studied various forms of dance including, ballet, tap, jazz, modern, flamenco, and belly dancing over her 27 years of dancing. She has studied summer sessions with North Carolina School of the Arts, Musical Theater Project of Tampa, Alvin Ailey (New York City) and Bates Summer Dance Festival (Maine). For the past ten years, she has enjoyed teaching dance. Most recent performances include the "Duke Ellington Nutcracker Swing" and "Dancing Through the Gospel." She has recently been invited to join the New Orleans Opera Junior Committee. When not teaching or performing, Juanita maintains a private law practice in Norco, Louisiana. Juanita is excited to begin another year teaching ballet at Aimee's Dance Academy! Christina Vitter Christina Vitter is our wonderful tumbling teacher. The classes offered are "Tumbling Tots" for 3 and 4 year olds, Tumbling I for boys and girls ages 5-7, and Tumbling II for boys and girls ages 8-up. Christina is very qualified, she is a member of Dance Master of Florida and is currently teaching at other tumbling facilities. Abby Champagne Abby is a new member of our teaching staff. Abby has danced for 17 years and was a student at Aimee's Dance Academy for two years. She is currently a member of All-American Dance and Drill Team Staff. Abby will be teaching our Stretch & Strength Class and our Cheerleader & Dance Team Prep Class. |
